About Us
Kim and Melanie
Sisters Kim and Melanie had worked in Calgary for 10 years when they decided to open The Edge Dental Hygiene Centre, proudly becoming Calgary’s FIRST Dental Hygiene Clinic!
Both sisters are graduates of Dalhousie University and have over 28 years of practice in Calgary. Melanie and Kim are registered to provide expanded competencies that include Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Local Anesthetic, and Prescribing Schedule 1 Drugs. They are also trained in Laser Therapy.
Melanie and Kim are active members of both the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists (ACDH), The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA), and the Dental Hygienists Association of Alberta (DHAA).
Jacqueline
Jacqueline has been with the Edge since its opening. She is Kim’s sister-in-law and is happy to help you with scheduling, navigating dental insurance, and has been known to hold a hand or two during treatment.

Kelly
Kelly has been a valued member of the Edge team for 10 years, bringing with her 22 years of experience in patient care and promoting long-term oral health. A graduate of University of Manitoba, she is actively involved with the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists (ACDH), the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA), and the Dental Hygienists Association of Alberta (DHAA).
